FAQ

Common questions

When is it time to upgrade my CRM?
Three signals: agents are duplicating data into spreadsheets to do their job, leads sit unattended for more than 24 hours because routing fails, and reporting takes a person more than half a day per week. Any one of those is a strong upgrade signal; two is overdue. The audit will surface which of those is hitting you hardest.
Should real estate teams use HubSpot or Salesforce?
HubSpot wins for teams under 50 sales seats, fast-moving residential and lettings, and marketing-driven funnels, easier to roll out, friendlier UX, lower TCO. Salesforce wins for enterprise commercial, multi-region operations, and anything that needs deep custom logic, complex permissions, or heavy integrations. There's no universal answer; it depends on your scale and process complexity.
What's the typical CRM implementation timeline?
For real estate, 6–10 weeks gets you a properly-configured rollout with one or two integrations and a trained team. Add 4–6 weeks per major integration (telephony, marketing automation, accounting, MLS feeds). Anyone promising 'go-live in two weeks' is selling you a demo, not a system that ships value.
Is custom CRM worth it?
Almost never as a starting point. We recommend custom CRM only when an off-the-shelf platform demonstrably can't model a critical workflow, usually around bespoke commercial deal structures, multi-currency portfolios, or unusual co-broking models. For 90% of real estate teams, customising HubSpot or Salesforce delivers 95% of the outcome at 20% of the cost and risk.
