FAQ

Common questions

How is this different from the CRM readiness assessment tool?

That tool scores whether it's time to upgrade your sales-ops maturity. This one scores whether you're ready to migrate CRMs today, data hygiene, integration complexity, custom fields, and business tolerance for downtime. Use the assessment when you're deciding if. Use this scorer when you've already decided to move and want to know how risky the move is.

What are the biggest migration risks?

Dirty data going in dirty, undocumented integrations that quietly break, custom fields nobody remembers the purpose of, and no named internal owner to make trade-off calls during cutover. Ninety percent of failed migrations trace back to one of those four. Not the platform choice.

How long does a Salesforce to HubSpot migration typically take?

For a mid-sized real estate team with clean data, documented integrations, and a named owner, six to ten weeks end to end. Add three to four weeks per heavy custom workflow or telephony integration. If foundations are messy, budget twelve to sixteen weeks with the first month spent on prep, not moving anything.

Can you migrate without downtime?

Yes with a parallel run. Both systems stay live, writes go to the new CRM, reads still work from the old one, then you cut over reads once data parity is verified. It costs more and takes longer but removes cutover-weekend risk. For teams over fifty seats or twenty-four seven operations, it's the default recommendation.

Do you need to keep the old CRM running in parallel?

For at least two to four weeks after go-live, yes. That window lets you catch missing fields, broken automations, and stray integrations before you cancel the old contract. Keeping it read-only for another sixty days is cheap insurance against edge cases that surface in month two.
