Noseberry vs Lofty
Real estate CRM + AI assistant + IDX website platform
Lofty (formerly Chime) is a templated CRM with bolted-on AI features. Noseberry builds custom AI engineered around your data. RAG over your private knowledge base, agentic workflows that finish jobs across your CRM/PMS/ESign, and AEO-ready copilots. Lofty fits solo and small-team brokerages. Noseberry fits operators who want AI as a core competitive advantage, not a feature tab.
- Solo agents and small teams testing AI for the first time
- Brokerages that want a single SaaS bill
- Teams happy with templated AI nudges and reply suggestions
- Brokerages or PropTech operators where AI is the moat
- Teams with proprietary data the AI must understand
- Operators running multi-step agentic workflows across multiple systems
What you actually get
| Feature | Noseberry | Lofty |
|---|---|---|
| AI architecture | Custom RAG, fine-tuned LLMs, agentic workflows on GPT-4o/Claude/Gemini | Templated AI assistant inside Lofty CRM |
| Data grounding | RAG over your private docs, contracts, MLS feeds, transaction history | Lofty's general training data + your CRM contacts |
| Agent autonomy | Multi-step agents that call tools, finish jobs, escalate to humans | Single-turn reply suggestions |
| Engagement model | One-time build + per-call LLM usage | Monthly per-seat subscription |
| Tech stack | Your choice. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, AWS Bedrock, self-hosted Llama | Lofty's proprietary AI layer |
| Customisation | Build any agent, any workflow, any data source | Within Lofty's templated capability set |
| Audit trail + citations | Every AI response carries source citations and full audit log | Limited. Proprietary feature set |
| Time to first AI workflow | 4–8 weeks per agent | Same-day setup |
For very small teams, Lofty's bundled subscription is the simpler choice. For teams running real AI workflows at scale, a one-time custom build typically costs less in total and grows on your terms. We'll model the comparison for your team on the discovery call.
About this comparison
Can Noseberry's AI work alongside an existing Lofty/Chime install?
Yes. We've built domain-specific copilots that sit alongside Lofty for clients who don't want to migrate the CRM yet. The AI agent reads from your CRM via API, takes actions in the user's name, and writes back to Lofty. Migration to a custom CRM happens later if at all.
What's the typical first AI workflow we'd ship?
Most clients start with one of: (a) lead-qualification copilot. Agent reads inbound lead, drafts response, schedules viewing; (b) listing-description generator. Turns property metadata into AEO-ready listings; (c) underwriting copilot. Reads OM/financials and drafts the 1-pager. We pick the highest-leverage one in the discovery call.
Do you train custom models or just integrate?
Both. For most clients, RAG over private data + a base model (Claude or GPT-4o) is sufficient and 10x cheaper than fine-tuning. For specialised tasks (extracting fields from international lease docs, vision on floor plans), we fine-tune. We'll recommend the cheapest route that meets the quality bar.
We'll model the breakeven for your team
No slides, no pitch. A working call. If Loftyis the right choice for you, we'll tell you that.
